CIA WORKS Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

CIA WORKS is a private operational platform used by Comprehensive Inspection Agency, LLC to support authorized permit intake, project administration, plan-review coordination, inspection workflows, recordkeeping, and related document management.

Google Account Data Access

CIA WORKS uses authorized Google integrations only for Comprehensive Inspection Agency’s operational purposes.

Gmail Access

The current CIA WORKS Gmail integration is read-only. When authorized, CIA WORKS may access relevant Gmail account identity information, message metadata, message content, headers, and attachments for operational intake, source verification, reconciliation, and project-work identification.

The current production Gmail integration does not send, delete, archive, label, or otherwise modify Gmail messages. Any future Gmail capability that requires additional authority will require separate implementation, disclosure, and authorization before use.

Google Drive Access

When authorized, CIA WORKS may search, read, create, and write project-related files and folders needed for approved Comprehensive Inspection Agency workflows.

Application-level controls are designed to restrict CIA WORKS operational activity to authorized Comprehensive Inspection Agency Workspace locations, approved Shared Drive boundaries, verified project ancestry, and permitted workflow actions. CIA WORKS is not designed to administer arbitrary personal Google Drive content.

How Google User Data Is Used

Google user data is used only to provide or support authorized CIA WORKS operational functions, including:

• identifying and reconciling legitimate project-related communications;

• organizing permit and project intake;

• locating and maintaining authorized project folders and records;

• filing approved project-related source documents;

• supporting plan-review and inspection workflows; and

• maintaining operational, audit, recovery, and duplicate-prevention records.

CIA WORKS does not sell Google user data.

CIA WORKS does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, creditworthiness, or unrelated commercial purposes.

CIA WORKS does not transfer Google user data for unrelated purposes. Access or disclosure is limited to authorized Comprehensive Inspection Agency personnel, service providers necessary to operate the authorized system, security and troubleshooting needs, legal requirements, or other uses permitted by the Google API Services User Data Policy and applicable law.

Data Storage and Security

CIA WORKS uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect authorized data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

OAuth credentials and tokens are retained only as necessary to operate authorized integrations. Implemented token-storage and encryption controls are used to protect stored OAuth tokens. Client secrets, access tokens, refresh tokens, authorization codes, and encryption keys are not intentionally placed in ordinary project records or user-facing output.

No security certification, Google verification, or Google endorsement is claimed unless separately and expressly established.

Retention

Operational records are retained according to applicable business, municipal, legal, recordkeeping, audit, security, and recovery requirements. Retention periods may vary according to the type and purpose of the record.

OAuth tokens are retained only while the applicable integration remains authorized and operationally necessary. Revocation may prevent additional Google data access but does not automatically delete records that Comprehensive Inspection Agency must retain for legitimate operational, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.

User Choice and Revocation

Google users control whether they authorize CIA WORKS to access their Google Account data. Authorized access can be reviewed or removed through the Google Account third-party connections page:

https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Removing authorization prevents future access through that authorization and may disable related CIA WORKS features.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when CIA WORKS capabilities, data practices, legal requirements, or Google requirements change. Material changes affecting the use of Google user data will be disclosed before the changed use is implemented when additional notice or consent is required.
